I have often remarked that my life resembles the line from the Sound of Music tune - "I must have done something good." After BHS I attended the University of Vienna, Austria, and returned and completed my BA degree in Economics from SUNY-Geneseo. I pursued two masters degrees from SUNY-Albany, and Central Michigan University. The preponderance of my career was spent with the Defense Department in finance and accounting, and human resources where I received the two highest awards for civilian achievement, and a Presidential letter of appreciation. During my career I was fortunate to have travelled to nearly every major city in the US as well as internationally to Europe and the Middle East. My wife's family is from England, our son-in-law is from Donegal, Ireland and we have travelled extensively on our own throughout the US, and Europe. Now, I am in love with two other women and Patsy approves - my granddaughters. While retired, I am still active as an instructor, labor relations consultant for a Navy contractor, and a federal mediator in the Boston area.

Another year gone by, and every day that we are still on this side of the grass is a very good day. Sending you an Irish birthday wish - good health, good luck, and happiness today and every day.

Yep, you are old, but still on this side of the grass - have a happy birthday. Next year you turn into a 75 watt bulb.

Had I known you were in Trent Woods I could have easily dropped in on you in one of my many trips to Camp LeJeune, NC.

An Irish birthday toast: "May you always have wall to shield you from the wind, a roof to protect you from the rain, laughter and good friends to cheer you, those you love near you, a glass of Irish whiskey by the fire, and all that your heart may desire." Enjoy - there is more in the rear view mirror.

Peg, have a joyous and very happy birthday. It is the oldest that you have ever been and the youngest that you will ever get. I hope this finds you well, and whenever I am on this side of the grass I count it as a very good day.
