The Late Miss Gehring
B. (Beulah) Pauline Gehring of 13 Roosevelt Avenue., who died at her home of natural causes Thursday, April 14, 1988, was a guidance counselor and English teacher at Batavia High School preceding her retirement in 1966.
Miss Gehring was born in Peekskill, a daughter of Charles and Beulah Parsons. She was a member of the first “Church of Christ Scientist."
Surviving are a brother, Carl, of Dayton, Ohio, a cousin Mildred Frisbee of Glenmont, nieces and nephews
She was a sister of the late Robert Gehring and Beatrice Smith.
There will be no calling hours. Services will be at 4 p.m. Sunday at H.E. Turner & Company, Inc. Mortuary. Interment will be in Grand View Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the church.

Memorials may be made to LeRoy Village Green Nursing Home, 10 Munson Street, LeRoy, where Mrs. Smith resided five years.

I had her as Principal at Brooklyn School and a Guidance Councelor at BHS. She cared about me when I was having trouble with Physics and nearly broke her back getting me into Union College. Have never forgotten her kindnesses.
